The Union Finance Minister, Nirmala Sitharaman, announced the launch of PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana 4.0 in Budget 2023 to benefit unemployed youth in India. This scheme, also known as Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 4.0, was initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2015, and three phases have been successfully completed. The fourth phase of the program will provide free training to unemployed youth across the country.
Under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, 10th pass unemployed youth will receive free training in their respective skill sets. The scheme has been initiated through 5000 centers across India, with a target of training 1 crore unemployed youth in 2023. The training period offered will be for 3 months, 6 months, or 1 year, and the program will also provide facilities like T-shirts, identity cards, and monthly financial assistance to the youth.
To be eligible for the PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana 2023, the applicant must be an Indian citizen, at least 10th pass, and between 15 and 43 years of age. Even those who have recently left college or school are eligible for this scheme.

2. Next, on the home page, look for the "Register/Login" link and click on it.
3. Then, enter your mobile number and verify the OTP.
4. Confirm the OTP by entering your Aadhaar card number to complete the e-KYC process on the portal.
5. After that, the PMKVY application form will appear, in which you need to fill in all your information carefully.
6. Once you have filled in the application form, you will see the option to select your nearest training center from the list of training partners.
7. By selecting your nearest training center, you can successfully complete the online application process for Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana 4.0 in just a few steps.
